Booking “guarantee” stateroom means you get at least this category, but you're not assigned to a specific cabin, Disney just guarantees you a room (at this category rate) and waits to see how the bookings go. "Cabin upgrade" is an option when you book a low-priced "guarantee" category and hope for a category upgrade. However, much cheaper is to book 2 staterooms than 1 suite. The "connecting" option is booking 2x Category 5 staterooms.įor families of 6+, the choices are "2-Bedroom Suite" or "Royal Suite" (max capacity 7 persons). All these options are cheaper, larger, more privacy, 2 full bathrooms. If the balcony is a must, book 1x Category 6 "Deluxe Oceanview" or 1x Category 7 ("Navigator’s Verandah") combined with 1x cabin in categories 9, 10 or 11. The combined size is ~40% larger, and there are 2x full bathrooms (no balcony though). The combined (connecting cabin) price is ~2/3 to 3/4 lower (then 1x Family Oceanview). However, the cheapest option is to book 2 connecting cabins - Category 9 ("Deluxe Oceanview") or Category 10 ("Deluxe Inside").
